Do you add bacteria to the BioDryer?
No, the BioDryer uses the naturally occurring bacteria inside the sludge that we help flourish using simple warm outside air. Much like a sourdough starter, this bacteria's collective energy raises the temperature of the BioDryer over time.
What type of feedstock can I dry with the BioDryer?
Any municipal sludges / biosolid. Most Industrial sludge from pharmaceutical, paper mills, food industry. Could be suitable for other organics... contact us.
How much biosolids can I dry per year?
One single BioDryer can generally dry about 1,000 tons per year, but multiple BioDryers placed in tandem can dry up to 20,000 tons per year of biosolids.
How many hours does it run per year?
The BioDryer is a very robust, easy to maintain and operate machine. With minimal care, it can operate up to 8300 hours per year.
