From major conferences to panel discussions and the global spotlight of Climate Week NYC, our team is engaging in some of the most important conversations at leading industry events that are shaping the future of waste transformation and innovation. PNCWA2025 Annual Conference- Portland, OR
Garrett Benisch, Director of Design Development will be speaking at the Pacific Northwest Clean Water Association (PNCWA) 2025 Annual Conference, taking place from September 14 to 17, 2025, in Portland, Oregon. Garrett's session, "Biosolids Biochar to Concrete – Case Studies, Lessons Learned, and Value Propositions," will take place on Monday, September 15, at 4:20 PM as part of the Biosolids & Resource Recovery track.

NABC 2025- Minneapolis, MN
Our CEO, Dario Presezzi, will be speaking at the 2025 North American Biochar Conference (NABC25), September 15–18, 2025. During his presentation, Dario will share insights, lessons learned, and a vision for the future drawn from Bioforcetech’s achievement of becoming the first of a kind in North America and Italy to transform sewage sludge into OurCarbon® biochar.

Circular Design for Climate Mobilization (CDCMo)- New York, NY
OurCarbon is featured in the CDCMo, a 6-week exhibit “showcasing artful objects and furnishings made from organic and recycled materials.” Visit the exhibit to explore how climate action is being woven into design and to see OurCarbon® in action with prototypes and material samples ranging from structural concrete to biopolymers and 3d printed furniture infused with OurCarbon.

Garrett Benish, our Director of Design Development, will be speaking during Climate Week NYC at the AIA New York Event titled Building Breakthroughs: The Path to Zero Embodied Carbon Construction. The event, taking place Tuesday, 9/23, 5pm - 8pm at the Center for Architecture, “will center on both local New York and global developments and advances in materials, practice, and governance that are redefining pathways to and timetables for net-zero attainment and beyond.”

Living Future- NYC Climate Week Biobased Construction Roundtable & Reception- New York, NY
Bioforcetech will be attending the NYC Climate Week Biobased Construction Roundtable & Reception hosted by the Living Future Marketplace at the Parsons School of Design.
This gathering, co-hosted by Living Future, Healthy Materials Lab at Parsons, Yale’s Center for Ecosystems in Architecture, and others, brings together industry leaders to accelerate the adoption of regionally produced, renewable materials that can strengthen supply chains, create good jobs, and reduce embodied carbon. As innovators working at the intersection of waste, carbon-smart materials, and circular design, we’re proud to contribute OurCarbon® to the broader movement reimagining what the building industry can achieve within planetary boundaries.
